Welcome to Mitchell photography, I’m Mark a Kent based photographer with a passion for taking photos for over 20 years. Weddings, portrait and event photography are my specialist areas and when i have the time I’m taking landscape photos too.
While being based in the south east I am always open to opportunities across the UK, Europe and worldwide.
I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember, capturing the moment with a little black box.
I was 6 years old when i did my first photoshoot, a school trip to London Zoo with bag full of sandwiches and a disposable camera in my pocket. It was a hot sunny day in June and as a special treat, mum made me jam sandwiches. Sitting there eating them for lunch, i was almost bursting with excitement to photograph the elephants and penguins. But that wasn’t the most exciting thing about that day for me, it was the anticipation, waiting to see how my photos had turned out. Were they any good, had I captured the moment?
And that was it, I was hooked for life on photography and to this day I still love taking photos.
My work consists of weddings and events, I also specialise in portrait photography, family photography, reportage, lifestyle and branding shoots. When it come to portrait work, I like to think I capture the best of you, your family and your life.
